Meanwhile, Trump has praised dictators like Hitler and Kim Jong Un, proposed reopening Alcatraz as a detention facility, and infamously incited a violent mob to storm the Capitol on January 6. The rise of this authoritarian agenda has emboldened right-wing extremists to target Democratic figures such as Melissa Hartman and Nancy Pelosi, while ICE agents are now arresting judges and other officials who oppose their actions, often on shaky legal grounds.
