The once respected and appreciated Elon Musk has taken a swift fall from grace after coming out as a republican after a sexual assault scandal.

At a recent rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Elon Musk spouts lies about the democrats, saying that they are taking away your right to free speech, your guns, and your right to vote.

Why did Elon Musk buy Twitter? + the formation of Truth Social

Because of Trump’s tweets during the January 6 Insurrection, he was banned from Twitter permanently.

He also reiterated concerns regarding Section 230, a legal provision that has historically shielded tech companies from lawsuits related to user-generated content. "Twitter may be a private company, but without the government's protection under Section 230, it would struggle to survive," the president stated. "We have been in discussions with various other platforms and will make a significant announcement soon, while also exploring the possibility of developing our own platform in the near future. We will not be SILENCED!" Trump added.

The Formation of Truth Social

According to Reuters, Wes Moss and Andy Litinsky, two cast members from Trump's television show *The Apprentice*, played a pivotal role in establishing Truth Social's parent company, the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). They reportedly presented the concept of a social network to Trump in January 2021.

The Twitter files

Researchers have noted that many high-profile instances of content warnings and removals disproportionately target conservative content, largely due to the prevalence of false and misleading information in that space. Allen, a researcher, explained that while there are problematic elements on the left, the conservative ecosystem is more established and widely shared. Facebook's algorithms may further amplify right-wing content designed to provoke strong reactions, resulting in increased moderation for such material, particularly as some of it borders on conspiracy theories. Watts pointed out that while Facebook's enforcement may appear biased, it stems from the reality of asymmetric misinformation. He emphasized that the right's demands for more accommodation create an unresolvable situation, where evidence-based arguments are undermined by a pervasive distrust of the platform.

The Twitter files did show that the company moderated anti-vaccine speech, Hunter Biden's laptop, and then eventually Donald Trump himself.

DARK MAGA - Elon Musk and fake voter registration sites

Elon Musk hosted fake voter registration sites that aim to steal information from left-leaning people in swing states on Twitter, and is currently under investigation in both North Carolina and Michigan

Users on X (formerly Twitter) were falsely told that Vice President Harris could not ascend to the top of the Democratic ticket. Countless election officials and experts explained that Biden wasn’t actually the nominee yet, so there would be no legal or practical impediment to his replacement, Vice President Harris, appearing on the ballot once formally nominated.

A Musk-funded super PAC spent over $800,000 on ads, many of which were designed to collect voter data, sometimes on false premises. The ads encouraged people to visit America PAC’s website and implied that they could use this site to register to vote. According to published reports, while users who entered zip codes from noncompetitive states were directed to their state’s registration website, users indicating that they lived in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, or another swing state were instead directed to a form on America PAC’s site to enter more personal information, including their address, mobile phone number, and age. After submitting the form, a “thank you” page appeared that offered no assistance in actually registering to vote.

State officials in Michigan and North Carolina are investigating whether America PAC violated state law. (Perhaps in response, the website no longer has a link for registering.) It’s not clear that America PAC’s website violates any federal or state law. However, it made it harder for election officials to promote accurate election information and undermined access to voting. If someone who visited the website mistakenly thinks they have registered to vote by submitting their information, they may not be able to vote when they arrive at their polling place and learn that the deadline to register has already passed.

ELON MUSK IS TRYING TO GIVE MONEY TO PEOPLE TO REFER TRUMP VOTERS

Peter Thiel and JD Vance - Can you buy a senator?

JD Vance meets Peter Thiel

J.D. Vance spent just two years at Yale University, where he encountered influential figures who would shape his future. Among them was Peter Thiel, a prominent entrepreneur and venture capitalist, who was vocal about his concerns regarding stagnation in technological innovation. Thiel, known for his controversial ideas, was involved with a life extension foundation that explores radical concepts such as cryonics, the practice of freezing deceased individuals in hopes of future revival.

Thiel and the Tech Industry

During his time at Yale, Vance learned about Thiel's significant contributions to the tech industry, notably as a co-founder of PayPal alongside Elon Musk. This collaboration not only propelled Thiel into the spotlight but also laid the groundwork for future ventures that would impact the digital landscape.

Thiel's Gawker Lawsuit

Thiel’s life has also been marked by public controversies, such as his high-profile lawsuit against Gawker Media, which ultimately led to the site’s bankruptcy. This legal battle, which drew significant media attention, resulted in Thiel being outed as gay in 2007. Despite the challenges he faced, Thiel's experiences, both personal and professional, have greatly influenced his worldview.

Catholicism

Vance has publicly acknowledged Thiel’s impact on his own life, particularly in regard to Thiel's desire to step away from the legal profession. This desire resonated with Vance, who was contemplating his own career path. Furthermore, Thiel’s conversion to Catholicism had a profound effect on Vance, who saw it as a pivotal moment that underscored the importance of faith in navigating life's complexities. Through these interactions and influences, Vance's time at Yale helped shape his perspectives on technology, entrepreneurship, and personal values.

Peter Thiel handed JD Vance several Job Opportunities

After graduating from Yale in 2013, J.D. Vance spent approximately two years working in the legal profession. However, his career took a significant turn when he accepted a series of job opportunities provided by Peter Thiel, a key figure in his professional development.

One of Vance's early roles was as the Director of Operations at Circuit Therapeutics, a biotech firm. Thiel, known for his eclectic references, had previously named his venture capital firm Mithril Capital after "Mithril," a fictional metal from J.R.R. Tolkien’s *Lord of the Rings*, emphasizing his interest in innovative and transformative ideas.

Thiel played a crucial role in promoting Vance’s memoir, *Hillbilly Elegy*, which gained widespread attention and acclaim. Among its supporters was Donald Trump Jr., who became a significant ally in Vance’s political journey. Despite Vance’s earlier critical remarks about Trump—referring to him as “America’s Hitler” and “cultural heroin”—Trump Jr. helped Vance secure a place within the Trump campaign.

In addition to his political aspirations, Vance sought to address the issue of addiction in Ohio by founding Our Ohio Renewal. His motivation stemmed from personal experiences, particularly his mother’s struggles with addiction, which he candidly discussed in *Hillbilly Elegy*. However, the initiative faced criticism for its lack of tangible impact. It primarily funded a year-long residency for a single addiction specialist, who had previously worked with Purdue Pharma—an organization often criticized for its role in the opioid crisis—raising concerns about the effectiveness of Vance’s efforts in combating addiction.

The New Right

Intellectual Trumpism

J.D. Vance is often regarded as a prominent figure of the New Right, a movement characterized by beliefs that align closely with his own. This ideology, also referred to as post-liberalism or national conservatism, is marked by an anti-woke stance, skepticism toward large corporations, nationalist views on trade and border policies, and an unusual affinity for Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. Some have even labeled this trend as Intellectual Trumpism.

A key proposal from the New Right includes the controversial initiative RAGE (Retire All Government Employees) or Project 2025 /s. Additionally, they have a tendency to reference the Unabomber, whom they affectionately call "Uncle Ted," highlighting the movement’s engagement with fringe ideas.

Curtis Yarvin and the Dark Enlightenment

Central to this movement is Curtis Yarvin, who holds a range of unconventional beliefs. One particularly striking notion he advocates is the idea of converting unproductive individuals into biodiesel to fuel public transportation, which sounds like something out of Rick and Morty. Yarvin's philosophy, known as the Dark Enlightenment, posits that nation-states are antiquated and that authoritarian regimes are inherently superior to democracies. He argues that conservatives should lead society with a startup mentality and emphasizes the need for strong, decisive leadership, as outlined in his book Patchwork, where he envisions a new model for urban governance.

Elon Musk and America PAC (Political Action Committee)

History

America PAC was established to support Donald Trump's 2024 presidential campaign, backed by notable figures such as Elon Musk, Douglas Leone, and co-founders of Palantir Technologies Joe Lonsdale and Ken Howery. Musk announced the creation of America PAC in an interview, initially claiming he would contribute $45 million monthly. However, he later clarified that this commitment was misreported and that his actual donations would be at a significantly lower, unspecified amount. As the campaign progressed, America PAC took over much of the ground campaigning in key swing states, and Musk promoted the group by taking control of the X handle @America.

And now, he is going all in to elect donald trump

Elon Musk Suppressed JD Vance dossier on Twitter

According to the New York Times, after a reporter's publication of hacked Trump campaign information last month, the campaign connected with X to prevent the circulation of links to the material on the platform, according to two people with knowledge of the events. X eventually blocked links to the material and suspended the reporter's account.

So much for the Twitter files!

Musk made a huge deal that Twitter, before he purchased it, had suppressed information about Hunter Biden's laptop. This highlights the irony and double standards he set about censorship on social media.
