Donald Trump's record regarding women's issues raises significant concerns. He appointed the Supreme Court justices responsible for overturning Roe v. Wade, a decision that has critical implications for women's health and reproductive rights, particularly in conservative states where access to care has been severely restricted. Additionally, Trump was found liable for sexual assault in the E. Jean Carroll case, and numerous women have come forward with allegations of assault or inappropriate behavior against him. Notably, he was recorded in an Access Hollywood interview making disturbing comments about women, stating, "grab them by the pussy" and "when you're rich, they let you do it." While he has claimed to be a protector of women, his actions raise serious questions about his commitment to their safety and well-being. How can we trust someone who has exhibited such abusive behavior to genuinely advocate for and protect women?

Trump has been convicted by a jury of sexual abuse in the E. Jean Carroll case

The E. Jean Carroll v. Donald Trump case centers on allegations made by journalist E. Jean Carroll, who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her in a department store in the mid-1990s. In 2019, Carroll publicly detailed her claims in a book and subsequently filed a lawsuit against Trump for defamation after he denied the allegations and disparaged her character.

In May 2023, a jury found Trump liable for sexual assault and defamation, awarding Carroll $5 million in damages. The case was significant not only for the legal implications but also for its broader impact on discussions around sexual assault, accountability, and the treatment of survivors in the public sphere.

And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”
