Project 2025 is driven by the belief that U.S. law, government, and policy should be shaped by Christian nationalist teachings, aiming to promote religious devotion and freedom, particularly through a conservative Christian lens. It emphasizes securing individual rights to live freely, but this vision is rooted in a narrow Christian interpretation of God's will, such as designating Sunday as the Sabbath. The initiative advocates for severe restrictions on reproductive rights and LGBTQ+ rights, while pushing for a closer intertwining of religion and government. By adopting a specific Christian worldview, it disregards the diversity of religious perspectives on key issues like reproductive health and gender identity, shaping policies that impact millions of Americans.

A Preacher tells his audience he is disgusted with Trump's Blasphemous Bible

Here is a blog post that reads “Christianity Under Attack from the Neo-Pagan Religion of Secularism”, where the author describes how Solzhenitzyn, in his 1978 Commencement Address at Harvard, “A World Split Apart” told us that, while the Western democracies opposed the political and economic systems of tyranny that held sway in the USSR, the conditions that undermined the moral foundations of the Communist world and made it possible for governments to enslave their populations were being recklessly replicated in the West: materialism, legalism, a false view of freedom as will-to-power, and, most important of all, atheism.

Solzhenitzyn and "A World Split Apart" - Blaming atheism for societal decay

Christians have thought they’re in a war for decades.

“The Church, along with the Family, are obstacles to the total rule of the "progressive state."

The Church impedes the full triumph of the neo-Pagan religion of Secularism and the enshrinement of the All-Powerful Leviathan as the source of law, value and power.”

Liberal toleration does not work when leftist, secular, materialistic, atheistic activists are concerned.  They don't want toleration; they want to stamp out Christianity.

But Solzhenitsyn told us this was the case. To reject God is not the same as being neutral toward God; those who reject God crave social approval to replace the Divine approval they have forfeited.  They need their false god - the State - to smile on their lifestyle choices and the emphasis is on the word "need."  This makes secularism dangerously intolerant - like a number of other threats the free peoples of the world have had to face including Islam, Communism and Fascism.

We managed to see off Fascism in 1945 and Communism in 1989, but Islam is a perpetual external threat as it has been for 1400 years.

It is not difficult, however, to see a spiritually healthy West continuing to stand up to Islamic terror.  But the internal threat from Secularism is more serious than all the other ones combined.  This is how vibrant civilizations die: by a thousand self-inflicted wounds from within, not by external conquest.  Solzhenitsyn was prophetic about our plight; our fate, however, is still undecided.  May God, if it be His will, grant a revival of Christian faith in the West that puts atheism and secularism in the shade.   If not, God will still be God regardless of what happens to the West.

According to Britannica, In presenting alternatives to the Soviet regime, Solzhenitsyn tended to reject Western emphases on democracy and individual freedom and instead favoured the formation of a benevolent authoritarian regime that would draw upon the resources of Russia’s traditional Christian values. (even good enough for Alex Jones!)

Top 10 Attacks on Separation of Church and State (Secular.org) in project 2025

Department of Labor:

Amend the Fair Labor Standards Act to require that workers be paid time and a half on the Sabbath.

1. “Sabbath Rest. God ordained the Sabbath as a day of rest, and until very recently the Judeo-Christian tradition sought to honor that mandate by moral and legal regulation of work on that day… Congress should encourage communal rest by amending the Fair Labor Standards Act to require that workers be paid time and a half for hours worked on the Sabbath.”

Department of Health and Human Services:

The CDC cannot shut down churches in the event of a pandemic.

2. COVID: How much risk mitigation is worth the price of shutting down churches on the holiest day of the Christian calendar and far beyond as happened in 2020? What is the proper balance of lives saved versus souls saved? The CDC has no business making such inherently political (and often unconstitutional) assessments and should be required by law to stay in its lane.

Prohibit abortion travel funding.

3. Prohibit abortion travel funding. Providing funding for abortions increases the number of abortions and violates the conscience and religious freedom rights of Americans who object to subsidizing the taking of life.

Prioritize faith-based programs through grant allocations.

4. Grant allocations should protect and prioritize faith-based programs that incorporate local churches and mentorship programs or increase social capital through multilayered community support (including, for example, job training and social events).

Remove contraceptives from being covered under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare)

5. Require HRSA to use rulemaking to update the women’s preventive services mandate. The contraceptive mandate issued under Obamacare has been the source of years of egregious attacks on many Americans’ religious and moral beliefs.

Faith-based grant recipients cannot violate religious liberty. Force marriage and family to be biblically reinforced (i.e., no gay marriage, and get back in the kitchen, woman!)

6. Protect faith-based grant recipients from religious liberty violations and maintain a biblically based, social science–reinforced definition of marriage and family.

Allow adoption and foster care agencies to discriminate again.

7. HHS should reestablish waivers for state and child welfare agencies for religious exemptions, especially for faith-based adoption and foster care agencies.

Let employers who don't agree with LGBTQ, women, Muslims, people of color, etc., have the right to discriminate in the hiring process based on their religion.

8. Clarify Title VII’s religious organization exemptions. Congress should clarify Title VII’s religious organization exemptions to make it more explicit that those employers may make employment decisions based on religion regardless of nondiscrimination laws.

Department of Education:

Prioritize the religious beliefs of the institution at the expense of students. Let the schools discriminate again just like the 1970's.

9. Protect faith-based institutions by prohibiting accreditation agencies from:

  • Requiring standards and criteria that undermine the religious beliefs of, or require policies or conduct that conflict with, the religious mission or religious beliefs of the institution; and
  • Intruding on the governance of colleges and universities controlled by a religious organization.

Transgender kids are an abomination of God, we definitely aren't bullying children for a small number of cases used to distract the masses while we destroy federal protections.

10. Work with Congress to amend Title IX to include due process requirements; define “sex” under Title IX to mean only biological sex recognized at birth; and strengthen protections for faith-based educational institutions, programs, and activities.

Donald Trump Creates a New Task Force to Investigate 'Anti-Christian Bias

Fighting anti-Christian bias

President Trump issued two executive orders that directly address religion. The first order establishes a task force aimed at combating what the administration calls "anti-Christian bias" in the federal government, led by Attorney General Pam Bondi. The task force highlights issues such as DOJ prosecutions of individuals blocking access to reproductive health clinics and Department of Education guidance regarding LGBTQ rights on campuses. Critics, including law and religion professor Robert Tuttle, argue that this narrative of Christian persecution is based on a specific conservative Christian viewpoint and overlooks the broader diversity of Christian opinions on these issues.

Establishment of a Faith Office

The second executive order reestablishes a Faith Office in the White House, a position created by President George W. Bush in 2001 to assist faith-based groups in accessing government grants for community work like shelters and refugee resettlement. While the office was largely inactive during Trump's first term, it is now being revived. The office's mission, as described by former head Melissa Rogers, is bipartisan, aiming to help faith-based organizations bring about positive change.

Paula White Controversy

Paula White is a televangelist and spiritual advisor to President Donald Trump, who has sparked controversy due to her appointment to lead the newly established White House Faith Office. White has been associated with the Prosperity Gospel, a controversial theological belief that links financial donations to spiritual blessings. Critics argue that this teaching exploits vulnerable believers by promising material rewards in exchange for large financial contributions, often recommending specific sums of money. Many conservative evangelicals and Christian leaders have harshly criticized White's appointment, claiming that her theology contradicts traditional Biblical Christianity. Some detractors have even labeled her teachings as heretical and damaging to the faith.

Churches can get Child Sexual Abuse Insurance (I know that sounds fake)

Abuse and Molestation Liability Coverage is increasingly important for churches as lawsuits related to misconduct and abuse become more common and public. This insurance protects organizations from financial losses due to incidents of abuse, but it does not cover individuals found guilty of such behavior. The policy aims to reduce the organization’s exposure to legal claims, damages, and associated expenses, thereby safeguarding its financial stability and reputation. With growing efforts to encourage victims to come forward, organizations, especially churches that provide support and counseling, face heightened risks due to their extensive networks and youth-related activities.

Christians, if you vote now, you’ll never have to vote again - Trump

During a speech at The Believers’ Summit, then former President Donald Trump suggested to religious conservatives that if he were re-elected, they would never need to vote again, promising that "in four years, it’ll be fixed" and that Christians wouldn't have to vote anymore. This comment quickly spread on social media, sparking concerns that it hinted at an authoritarian, anti-democratic agenda. Trump has repeatedly framed his political opponents as enemies and has been criticized for undermining democratic norms, especially after the Capitol attack in 2021. His rhetoric, which includes praising strongmen leaders and discussing potential abuses of presidential power, has raised alarms from both Democrats and Republicans. Critics argue his approach to governance could lead to a shift towards autocracy, particularly with his Project 2025, a set of conservative policy proposals aimed at radically transforming the federal government, including curbing immigration and centralizing power.
